it was just a little more than a week ago….the beach, the seascape, the ocean, the sunset over the bay. there is nothing quite like the sensations of long beach island new jersey.

& in light of saturday’s agenda, it feels right to reflect on the simple  beauty of the sky and the sea – the salty smell of the ocean, the sounds of waves crashing, the shape of clouds overhead, the colors of the sunset. these quiet moments alone feel like eternity, like a stretch of time stops. it is in these moments i feel a sense of blessed smallness – my place in the vastness. it brings humility to my heart, peace to my mind and a stillness within my being. it is within this center that goodness and greatness happen for i’m able to give from a place of pureness.
