I am an artist, a photographer, and a long-time resident of Salem, MA—a place that holds the record for the longest stretch I’ve lived anywhere, having moved considerably across the East, South, and Northwest coasts.

While my personal go to’s are my own family, music, art, birds, trees, and the coastline, my world is filled with deeper conversations, enjoying a meal with people who mean the world to me … and a good laugh!

My photography is an expressive blend of Fine Art Portraiture and the unscripted truth of Documentary Storytelling. I am interested in creating images filled with honest emotion, a visceral sense of nostalgia, and impressions that are truly timeless—ones that make you feel something profound.

I believe life is art, and in a world that swirls, it’s hard to see the grace that surrounds us. Documentary photography has opened my eyes to the real beauty in the tiniest moments, and I’m hopeful my pictures help you see the art in your own everyday life.

The Power of the Printed Photograph

I understood the value of documenting one's life a little too late to backtrack on my own, but I cherish the black and white pictures from my childhood. I committed myself to photographing my nieces, and their heirloom books span the messy, the imperfect, and the beautiful story of their growth. In a few, I can even smell the rain as it fell that day—that’s how real they are.

In our world of fleeting digital imagery, the real and the raw offers insight and power. The story that unfolds in tangible photographs has the power to open your eyes and heart to the love that surrounds you and hopefully helps you see your as a meaningful.
